Basic Description: A skinny, leggy, golden brown she-cat with dark brown markings, with green eyes.
Appearance: Long and lean as the wind is swift, Ferngaze isn't a hulking brute of a cat. Despite her long legs, and rather delicate looking frame, she's not what you would call a push over. This cat has found ways to compensate for weaknesses such as that, and refuses to fall to them. Her deep green eyes are fairly attention grabbing, and the striped markings around her face accent them nicely.
Personality:
Serious
Ferngaze is a extremely smart cat. She can pick up on most things very quickly, without much trouble. Unfortunately, one of the things she does have trouble picking up on, is humor. By nature, she is a very serious cat, and most humor escapes her by quite a bit. Her sister, the more crude of the two she-cats, has to explain most of it to her, if it is a more subtle humor. It's a bit like she's blond, and it makes her a bit frustrated sometimes. She used to most cats coming out and just saying what they mean.
Kind
Despite her serious nature, Ferngaze is a very kind she-cat, finding it hard to actually hate anyone. Dislike strongly, yes, be infuriated, yes, but to actually hate, no. Her sister thinks her a tad too soft on those that do hurt or anger her, but Ferngaze is rather broad minded, finding it hard to actually not see both sides of a story.
Loving
She has a heart made for love, and it doesn't take much to get a place there. All one really must do, is be themselves. She finds it hard to not find affection for everyone in her Clan. She loves her Clan, and her family, and unlike most cats, has enough room within her heart to love everyone that needs it. Which, in her mind, is everyone indeed.
Blunt
Despite her soft thoughts, bit of a blond sense of humor, this she-cat isn't that great at beating around the bush. If it passes through her head, and it sounds right, she most likely will spit it out. She doesn't think that lying to others can do much good, and so she often makes it a priority to actually not lie to other cats, who are fairly used to being lied to.

Kit-Hood
Ferngaze was born in tandem with her sister, Ivytail. They were merely a minute apart, and even then they looked quite alike. As kits, the two she-cats were always together, Ferngaze often following Ivytail about, her sister being the cause of their trouble making.
Apprenticeship
As apprentices, the two sisters found it harder and harder to stay together during training. In fact, their mentors made it a point to try and keep them apart during the day, to prove that they didn't actually need to be around each other constantly. It worked, in a way. Ferngaze became more independent, and Ivytail became less controlling. They both did well during their training, though they lost their mother shortly before they were made warriors to a fox. It hit both she-cats hard, and the rift that had been slowly forming between them, came back together with a snap of epic proportions.
Warrior/Medicine Cat-Hood
After being made warriors, Ferngaze and her sister were once again inseparable, though they had their rough patches, like all siblings do. A few moons after being made warriors, their father died, in a border fight with ShadowClan. From that moment, Ivytail harbored a deep hatred for that Clan, and despite her sister trying to bring her sister along for it as well, Fergaze felt nothing but a deep sadness for a Clan that had to kill for no reason, while a good clawing would do the job just fine.
