Eveningstar
{Prefix= His dark gray fur, gave him the prefix 'evening' due to the dusky color of his fur and most evenings.
Suffix= He's a leader.
The Basics:
Name:Eveningkit, Eveningpaw, Eveningcloud, Eveningstar
Gender: Tom
Age: 45 Moons
Rank: Leader
Clan: WindClan
Basic Description: A lean dark gray, long furred tom with pale green eyes.
Appearance: Eveningstar has what you might call a skinny profile. He's lean, and he's not all that muscular, but that means nothing to him. To get a hold of him, you would have to catch him first, which is no small feat. His facial features are very strong and cruel looking, giving him a harsh and calculating expression almost constantly. His long gray fur protects him from the cold wind of the marsh during leaf-bare, though it can be hindering during the warm months of green-leaf.
Personality:
Kind
Despite being in a position of power like he is, Eveningstar is actually a very kind persona. He sees no sense in needless violence and often finds it irritating that border squabbles HAVE to be dealt with violence. If a prisoner was taken, or someone found on WindClan territory, he would most likely make the cat feel welcome, before getting information as to why they were there. Some tend to see this as weakness.
Proud
Despite his soft disposition, he is a very proud cat. His pride extends to his Clan, and he finds it infuriating that due to past leaders, his Clan is often seen as the weakest of the four Clans. He lets no trespass go unseen, and should another cat insult his honor, well, he's not one to say no and turn tail and flee. He's been in his position too long, to simply bow down to these other kits that call themselves leaders.
Cunning
Despite the fact that he is a rather gentle cat, he is no fool. Should he see tensions rising between the Clans, he often tries to turn it towards the act of fighting between the other three Clans. He would prefer it if he was kept out of the bloodshed, and actively seeks ways of doing so. To draw his Clan into a fight would be increasingly difficult.
Wise
Eveningstar, isn't often inclined to make his own mistakes. Often, more than not, he is more than willing to learn from others, as well as the ones he makes himself. Those who cannot learn from their own mistakes, may as well make themselves useful, should they not? As he is the oldest of the Clan leaders, he often, arrogantly, considers himself to be the wisest of the leaders. Not to say he doesn't make mistakes, he just tends to make them discreetly.

History:
When Eveningstar was a tiny little kit, his father was killed by a badger, leaving him, and his three other siblings to their mother and Clan. Eveningstar wasn't anything out of the ordinary as a kit, and got into all sorts of things as young kits will. With four kits, it was easy to say that she was often tired.
When the four kits made apprentices, Eveningstar was apprenticed to the deputy of the time, and by no means was he treated special because of this. In fact, due to this, he was held to a higher standard than the other apprentices. It wasn't easy to go through, but by time he was made a warrior, he was well prepared for what would come.
Shortly after he was made a warrior, his mother died of infection of a deadly wound, and it affected all the siblings harshly. Badgerclaw, who was closest to their mother, died a few moons later, in a fight over prey, when it was very scarce. His two sister and he, were dragging badly after the loss of two family members so close together. Almost eight moons after he was made an apprentice, he was made deputy, and only moons later, leader, after the current leader lost his life to a disease that couldn't be treated, no matter what the medicine cat tried.
Kit-Hood
It was a typical kithood, the only major thing happening here was his father's death at five moons. His mother was left alone to raise all four of their kits.
Apprenticeship
Being apprenticed to the Clan deputy, Eveningstar was held to a greater level than the other apprentices, and often was told off instead of praised, where other apprentices were praised. Though, he was later told that he made his mentor proud by the accomplishments he made, he still found it hard to believe.
Warrior/Medicine Cat-Hood
Loosing both a mother and brother, only a few months apart from one another, marks the biggest thing in his life during his warrior period, and it makes him rather reluctant to think on it at all. He was made deputy a few months after the death of his brother, and he had another steep learning curve from his once mentor, now leader.
Leadership
When Eveningstar became leader, it was the most proud day of his life. To receive nine lives and be regarded as one of the most powerful cats of the forest, it was an honor indeed. He still holds this rank today, and protects the Clan to the best of his abilities.
