Basic Description: A long-haired, dark red she-cat with pale green eyes.
Appearance:
FUR
Gingerleap's long, fluffy fur is a beautiful color. It's mainly draw red, but the color is a little lighter on her legs and tail. Small amounts of balck are mixed into the darker areas on her body. Apart from it's beauty, her fur is also very soft. But it's not water-rpelent at all, so she'll sink like a rock if she gets wet.
EYES
Her eyes are just as good as any cat's, being a common color of pale green.
BUILD
Gingerlead is a very small, petite cat, but her size doesn't mater much since she's training to become a Medicine Cat and won't be in to many battles. She is a little uderweight, though, because she doesn't eat her meals all of the time. She knows that she should, but she wants to be sure that the clan has been well-fed first, and that there will still be some extra food on the pile before she takes her share. But she's not weak. She'll often practice her climbing skills with the other apprentices to stretch her muscles, that is, if she's not needed in the Medicine den.
Personality:
STUBBORN
When Gingerleap wants something done or wants to do something, she won't take no for an answer. She very determined and stubborn, and is convinced that her way is the best way and normally isn't opened to other ideas. She's smart and determined, let's leave it at that.
FEARLESS
Any cat who has watched Gingerleap do her thing would say that she's fearless. For the small time when she was training to become a warrior, she would do anything. She wasn't afraid to try the most risky battle move, or climb the tallest trees. She was also fearless when going into battle, not thinking about how badly she could get hurt. Even now, being a Medicine Cat Apprentice, she's still fearless, but not in the same way. As long as she's checked with her mentor, and she's absolutley sure that the herbs she uses wont hurt the sick cat, she'll try new rememdies to see what works the best.
LOUD
"Half the size, ten times the personality." Her mother said this about Gingerleap before she died. But her mother was right; Gingerleap is a small cat with a big personality. She's smart, always speaks her mind, and is very confident about herself and her clanmate's abbilities.

From the moment she could even think about it, Gingerleap was determined to be the best warrior in ThunderClan. She would ask very expirienced, senior warriors for help, and always wanted her mother to show her battle and hunting techniques. Her father was a rouge, so she couldn't ask him for fighting help, but she did get to go and visit him every so often.
Just after she and her two siblings, Jay and Chi (at that time they were Bluekit and Badgerkit) decided to leave ThunderClan and live as rouges with their father, Stark. They were happy with their life in the clans, but based on the stories that their father had told them, they wuld much rather live the life of rouges, bracking all the laws and roaming wherever you live. Gingerleap didn't join them, though. She said that her duty belonged to the clan, and that would remain the same for as long as she lived.
When she was around 9 moons old, her mother, Ashface, became very ill with greencough. It was a very bad case, and she ended up dying. Gingerleap then decided that she wanted to train as a Medicine Cat Apprentice, so she could learn to save the lives of cats so they didn't end up like her mother.
