 - - - - - - - - - - - -It was night and the moon was new, the skys dark but filled with stars, and a few shadowy clouds. Nightfang sat watching the clouds flow across the skies. He moved off and started walking around, his black fur swishing in the night and his acid green eyes staring out like they were floating in the shadows. He arrived back to the clans main area when his stomach ripped a little and he started to bleed. Nightfang walked and went to Wildheart's place. Wildheart? My stomach ripped again." He said to her and waited for her to reply. |

Scenting blood Wildheart opened her eyes. Expecting and attack, her snowy fur rose to make her seem larger. Seeing Nightfang in the entrance to her den she realized that the scent of blood was coming from him. Letting her fur settle again, Wildheart stood up and walked up to him, sniffing his stomach.
"Seems you have an thorn embedded here. It's almost worked it's way out," she told the tom. Gently, Wildheart grasped the thorn in here teeth and pulled it out quickly, trying not to cause undo amounts of pain. "I'll need to grab some Marrigold and cobwebs, sit down please."

Nightfang sighed. He sat down slowly not to hurt himself. He was covered in scars of course, from foxes, chipmunks, a snapping turtle or two and some other stuff. He waited for Wildheart to come back but in the mean time looked around. The place was the same as ever since he had always got hurt in some way.

"It seems you are in my den quite frequently Nightfang. In fact between you, Nightflower, and Ghoststep I hardly have any disinfectants left and need to go for cobwebs daily. Not that I mind or anything," Wildheart rambled as she set about preparing her herbs, "Chew this please..." she added as she passed him some Marigold petals. "Don't swallow the juice though."

Nightfang smiled at her comment on him, Nightflower, and Ghoststep. "You should find yourself an apprentice then." He told her then picked up a golden petal, careful not to drink in any of the juices.

"If only it were that simple Nightfang, there are no kits in Shadowclan currently and only Foxpaw for an apprentice. Foxpaw is much too interested in she-cats to love only his clan," Wildheart replied as she took the mashed petals. Applying them to the wound and coving them with catchweed to keep them there, Wildheart looked up at Nightfang.
"That should do it, let me know if any of your other scars abscess, " she added.

Nightfang smiled. "Yes, of course he is." He let out a low laugh and looked up. "Its too bad I'll problematic be here tomorrow." He said.

Nightfang smiled simply then walked back out. He turned and looked back in at the white she-cat. "Would you like to walk with me?" He asked her.

Taking a look around her cave den, inhaling the scents of herbs and berries, a look of worry in her eyes Wildheart nodded quickly and replied, "I'd love to take a walk with a friend, presuming that friend wouldn't mind helping me bring back some more cobwebs. It seems I've run out..."

Nightfang laughed and motioned with his head to the exit. "Okay I'll help you get some." He said and walked out of the den. It was still dark and his eyes were the only thing most of the other animals could see. He stood there and waited for Wildheart to come.

A small smile appeared on Wildheart's face as she followed the blue-grey tom out. Holding her head high, knowing she looked like a bright star in the predawn light, Wildheart took the lead, "There's a good patch of cobwebs over by the Green-leaf Two-leg place," she added.

Nightfang started into a light trot and caught up with Nightflower. "Okay." Nightfang was a little tired since he had been up all night but the refreshing air and cool droplets of condensation helped him stay awake.
